Chat EZ.

Enhanced chatting, built with moderators in mind.

Keep chat readable, find the signal in the noise and act with the context still in front of you.

A fast Windows chat workspace with watch lists, intelligent search, inline moderation and channel dashboards.

v1.18.4 · Free early access · Works with Twitch, 7TV, BTTV and FFZ

ChatEZ is a Twitch chat client built for moderators as well as chatters. The chat stays fast and readable, while important people, messages and patterns can be pulled out of the stream into a workspace where you can review context and act quickly.

Moderation

See the signal before it scrolls away.

Fast chat moves faster than any moderator can read. ChatEZ keeps concerning messages and chatters visible with filters, highlights, watch lists and the context needed to decide what happens next.

Signals and highlights

Bring first messages, watched users, badge matches and rule matches into view.

Review queues

Keep a chatter and their recent messages visible while chat continues moving.

Context before action

Inspect the chatter, related replies and the reason a line was surfaced.

Configurable actions

Delete, timeout, ban or add a note, with target confirmation when you want it.

Watch lists

A review queue, not a verdict.

A signal says "look at this", not "this person is guilty". Keep a watched chatter visible while the rest of chat moves on, with their recent messages, the reason they were highlighted and the channel context beside them.

Search and filters

Find the right line in a busy chat.

Search and filter as an operator tool, then save what works as a highlight rule.

  • Message text
  • Chatter
  • Badge identity
  • Badge description
  • Combine terms
  • Exclude terms
  • Saved highlight rules

The wider rules and highlighting system is growing with each release.

Dashboard

Run chat with a working view.

Turn chat activity into a working view and see the signals that help you decide what to do next. Arrange the panels that matter to your channel, then pop the dashboard out or keep it beside chat.

  • Retained activity
  • Chatters
  • First-message signals
  • Leader views
  • Watched users
  • Word matches
  • Stream status
  • Channel events

Metrics describe the messages ChatEZ has retained or recorded. They are not complete historical Twitch totals.

Chat

The chat client that keeps up.

Speed and context in one workspace. Pause live scrolling while you read, then resume at the newest message.

  • Multi-channel tabs
  • Compact inline messages
  • Pause and resume at the newest message
  • Twitch badges, colours and paints
  • Replies and reply previews
  • @username completion
  • Conversation views
  • Translations

Emotes

Every emote where you expect it.

Browse every library from one picker and keep emotes looking right in the line.

  • Twitch, 7TV, BTTV, FFZ and Emoji libraries
  • Search across providers
  • Type :partial-name for completion
  • Zero-width, wide and overlay emotes rendered in line

Integrations

Built around the Twitch chat you actually moderate.

Twitch live chat and moderation

Chat, replies and moderator actions through the official Twitch APIs.

Twitch system messages

Subscriptions, resubs, watch streaks and other channel notices, shown in the line.

Shared chat

Messages in shared-chat sessions keep their source channel identity.

GIFs and Cheermotes

Received GIFs and Cheermotes shown where they belong.

Channel Points

Redemption events, where the broadcaster has granted the required permission.

7TV, BTTV and FFZ

Live 7TV emote updates, plus the public BTTV and FFZ catalogues.

Moderator actions need the moderator role in that channel and the matching Twitch permissions.

Recording

Keep the context you choose to keep.

Opt-in local recording gives you a searchable record of observed chat for the channels you select. Use it to review context and build a local operating history.

  • Opt-in

Off until you turn it on.

  • Channel-scoped and local

Only the channels you choose, stored on your computer.

  • What ChatEZ observed

Clear about its coverage. Not a Twitch backfill or a complete stream archive.
